Safety21 UTC Research Project Acquires Racing Platforms for CMU Course

Safety21 UTC researcher John Dolan’s UTC project has supported the acquisition of racing platforms for the course F1Tenth Autonomous Racing, which was taught in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 at Carnegie Mellon University.  The course will continue to be offered in the spring semester each year and gives students exposure to the full robot autonomy stack, including mapping, localization, modeling, and control techniques for autonomous vehicles.
